The scope of work for any specific project is defined in a written contract between you and Santa Clarita Sunrooms & Patios. These Terms supplement but do not replace that contract. In the event of a conflict, the written project contract governs.
Any estimate or quote provided by Santa Clarita Sunrooms & Patios - whether given verbally, by email, or through the Site - is an estimate only and not a binding commitment to perform work at that price. A binding price is established only in a signed written contract.
Estimates are based on information available at the time of the site visit or inquiry. Final pricing may vary if actual site conditions differ materially from what was described or observed, if the scope of work changes at your request, or if material costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date.
We will notify you of any material price changes before proceeding with affected work.
Project start dates are estimates and may be affected by permit approval timelines, HOA review periods, material availability, weather conditions, or scheduling constraints. We will communicate any significant delays as soon as they are known.
Cancellation terms are specified in your written project contract. In general, if you cancel after a permit application has been submitted, you may be responsible for permit fees and any materials already ordered or fabricated specifically for your project.
We reserve the right to reschedule or decline work at our discretion, including situations where site conditions are found to be unsafe or significantly different from those represented.
Payment schedules and accepted payment methods are outlined in your written project contract. Typical arrangements include a deposit at contract signing, progress payments tied to project milestones, and a final payment upon project completion and your acceptance of the work.
Payments not received by their due dates may result in a pause in work until the outstanding balance is resolved. We reserve the right to charge a late fee on overdue balances as specified in the project contract.
All prices are in US dollars and subject to applicable California sales tax where required by law.
Where included in the scope of work, Santa Clarita Sunrooms & Patios will apply for and manage the required building permits with the applicable city or county authority. The homeowner is responsible for ensuring the property is accessible for site visits and inspections, and for disclosing any known site conditions relevant to the project - including easements, underground utilities, soil issues, or HOA restrictions.
If your property is governed by a homeowners association, you are responsible for obtaining written HOA approval before construction begins. We can assist in preparing plans for HOA submission, but approval decisions rest with your HOA.
Any workmanship warranty provided by Santa Clarita Sunrooms & Patios is described in your written project contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the respective manufacturer's terms.
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
